Mother of Murdered Sheffield Schoolboy Demands Killer Be Named

The grieving parents of 15-year-old **Harvey Willgoose**, who was fatally stabbed at **All Saints Catholic High School**, are urging the courts to lift the anonymity order protecting their son’s killer. Harvey’s mother says the boy responsible for his death should be publicly identified, just as her son’s name and face have been shared since the tragedy.

The attack, which shocked the Sheffield community, has reignited debate over how the justice system treats young offenders in serious violent crimes. Harvey’s parents believe that naming the killer would bring a sense of justice and accountability, as well as send a strong message about the consequences of carrying knives.

In addition to her appeal for transparency, Harvey’s mum is renewing calls for knife arches  to be installed in schools nationwide — a measure she says could help prevent similar tragedies in the future. She argues that stricter security measures, along with education on the dangers of knife crime, are urgently needed to protect young people.

The case remains under court restrictions because of the killer’s age, but Harvey’s parents say their campaign for change will continue, both to honor their son’s memory and to push for reforms that could save other children’s lives.
